“You Can’t Build a Brand from One Outlet”: Twister cakes are the new waffles in Delhi,” remarked a newcomer in the F&B business. It’s indeed true that the market for twister cakes is heating up like nothing else the city has seen in recent times since waffles took over the streets. Anubhavv Arora opened the shutters of his first outlet just few days ago and he SAYS we will spread across India with millions of twister cake cafes.
Although a stranger who comes from the publishing and education industry, His aim is to expand as fast as possible while keeping the quality unharmed. In conversation with media persons, he spoke about the idea and vision behind the company and revealed that he noticed that a 400 year old recipe has not yet reached India, which is a big success all over the world. He said that franchising is the only way to grow a brand in a very short span of time. “It’s just the enthusiasm and the will to grow as early as possible and to create a brand amongst Indians,” he said.
“The idea is to offer superior quality food which is not just authentic but at the same time innovative. “We see customer feedback to see which items are selling and which aren’t and at the same time, which can be introduced in the menu and then we monitor the response by the clients,” he said.
“We have a team of consultants which includes architects, food consultant, manpower consultant and twister cake chefs from abroad. We want to do everything professionally and that’s why we got the experts in our team.”
“We want to do 300 outlets in the next 500 days. There’s one coming next month in Delhi, and many more are pipelined. Spreading out is the only way forward for us. We have to have a presence EVERYWHERE. We have to be in customers’ eyes everywhere they go and then only we can build a brand. If people are loving the product, then why shouldn’t we expand?” he explained.
